Terms

Terms of work

Updated

These terms apply to every enquiry, quote and job with Electro Access, Između dolaca 13, Nova Mokošica, 20236 Dubrovnik (Mokošica), Croatia. Anything agreed in writing for a particular job, on its quote or in a later message, takes precedence over these general terms.

1. Enquiries

You can ask for a quote through the quote form, by phone or WhatsApp on +385 95 506 8145, or by email at elektroaccess8@gmail.com. An enquiry commits you to nothing: a job is agreed only when you accept a written quote.

2. Appointments and site visits

Site visits and work dates are arranged by message or phone, in working hours (07:00–16:00). If you cannot keep an appointment, tell us as early as you can and we agree a new time. Please make sure we can get into the property at the agreed time, or tell us who will open it, and say whether guests, tenants or staff will be present.

3. Written quotes

Every job is quoted in writing, after a description of the work or a site visit. A quote is based on the scope known at the time: what you described, what we saw and the state of the installation where it could be checked.

4. What a quote contains

A quote describes the work to be done and where, lists the labour and the materials, and states the payment terms. After a site visit it also gives an estimate of how long the work will take. If a quote is valid only for a limited time, the quote says so.

5. Accepting a quote

You accept a quote by confirming it in writing, by email or by message. Work is scheduled after the acceptance.

6. Changes to the work

If you ask for more or different work, or if the work uncovers a problem that could not be seen before, such as a worn-out installation behind a wall, we tell you before going further and agree the change with you in writing. Nothing outside the accepted scope is carried out without your agreement.

7. Materials

The materials listed on the quote are the ones we install. If an item is unavailable, we propose an equivalent and use it only once you agree. If you want to supply a fitting or a device yourself, say so before you accept the quote, so that the quote can reflect it.

8. Approvals and consents

Some work needs approvals that belong to the property owner: the consent of the co-owners or the building manager for the common parts of a building and, for a building in the Old Town, the approval of the conservation department for work on the exterior. We tell you which ones we know of for your job, and the work that depends on them starts once they are in place.

9. Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quote. The invoice follows the accepted quote and any changes agreed in writing.

10. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the work, tell us in writing at elektroaccess8@gmail.com or by message to +385 95 506 8145, describing what is wrong, and we reply in writing. This does not limit any rights you have under Croatian consumer law.

11. Personal data and law

How we handle the details you send us is set out in the privacy policy. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.
